"The Chatham" a Nantucket Shingle Style Residence
Located off Eden Hill Road in southwestern Newtown, a new neighborhood of limited edition luxury estate homes will be custom built for twelve very discerning clients. Deed Restrictions are applicable to all lots. A five thousand square foot minimum of heated living space is required, not including basement or attic level. Building plans and specifications supplied by the buyer will be subject to an approval process. Some restrictions include non-architectural roofing, vinyl siding or windows and composite exterior trim, garage doors facing the road, exposed concrete on foundations and non copper flashing materials. No contemporary or industrial designs will be allowed.
In order to protect the value and equity of the other homes in the neighborhood, an appraisal of approximately $2.0M for the proposed finished residence, including land, is required for approval to build your home here. Building and site work costs for the homes shown above start from $250 per square foot of heated living space, not including the lot.
